This means, she was born deaf and it was missed at her infant screening. Her hearing aids are not working for her so we have no other option to give her the best life possible and go ahead with cochlear implants. It is a very serious surgery…but she will hear!!!!

HearXchange Foundation - Fundraising. Posted Mar 11 2010 at 1:02 PM by Moderator Michael Hogan (admin)

We are now raising money for the bicycle journey from San Francisco, CA to Atlanta, Georgia to raise money for those without means or insurance to obtain a cochlear implant or hearing aids.

Hopefully, the trip will begin the beginning of April and will end around the end of May or the beginning of June.

We have many bicycle clubs that are taking place with this event, not only to sponsor Hear Exchange Foundation but to help United States get back into "shape".

Our medical society is constantly changing and improving with new Cochlear Implants componants for people of all various hearing loss. Many of you are looking for help and Hear Exchange wants to make a difference in your life.

We welcome any of those who has worked with large fund raising to help assist this great fund raising event across country by setting pit stops as we approach your town. Send us an e-mail if you can assist us in your town!!!

This is a very exciting event and will make a huge different in many people's lives just to be able to help the hearing impaired to "HEAR".
