Having been profoundly deaf since birth, my observation throughout my life has taught me what opportunities/ resources/ education are lacking based on demographic scales on percentages of high school, college graduates, and employment levels. We need to create richer resources and public awareness to accommodate the hard of hearing/deaf people to mainstream with the hearing population in those areas.
Two out of ten are hearing impaired at various degrees. It all starts with the proper family settings (as in parents who are well informed) and getting them on the right track with the school that will best suit their needs. It would build their self-confidence level to where they become more productive and efficient students as they prepare for their future in the workplace therefore enhance their quality of life.
The development of the web site is to create more interaction and to help build their education level up by creating more demands in different area that needs more refining. |
